Innovative design shown at METS
We are delighted to have work displayed by PE Marine Designz at the recent Metstrade exhibition in Amsterdam.
Working on the exciting project with naval architect, Arran McKeon and Cobra Ribs, the innovative concept incorporates bespoke concealed hinges for their beach lander bow option - beautifully designed, opening bow steps to drop guests off to the beach without getting wet.
The shallow rise of steps, self-erecting stanchion posts and Dyneema support lines provide safe and easy boarding through the RIB bow. The cleverly designed system allows the steps to be easily deployed and retrieved from within the boat. When not in use, the stanchion posts and support lines neatly retract into an underfloor unit, hidden from view.
The design was tooled, moulded and assembled in-house.
Paul Edmondson of PE Marine Designz, who designs and supplies hinges for yacht exterior doors, platforms, fold-over steps, hatches, latches and other mechanisms attracted huge interest on his stand at the marine exhibition with the eye catching display.

Commissioned to build custom pools for Palmer Johnson luxury superyacht DB9
This was an interesting bespoke lightweight composites project for Palmer Johnson Superyacht DB9.
The three custom build pools included a 16 seat transom jacuzzi, 4 seater pool on the top flybridge and a 9m x 3m pool on the foredeck. These were all manufactured in-house to exact specification and transported to the ship in build for installation.
